How are the classes structured?

Classes are divided into 6-week sessions.

Where is the Children’s Studio Project located?

CSP is located at 4616 Tompkins Ave, in the Laurel/Redwood Heights neighborhood of East Oakland.

What is the space like?

We have both an indoor and outdoor studio equipped with 2 large tables, a kiln, outdoor sink, and lots of shade.

If the classes are divided into 6-week sessions, can my child sign up for multiple sessions all year round?

Yes, the sessions will not repeat, so students can enroll in as many sessions as they like, and build upon their skills.

If many students from the same school attend the Children's Studio Project, can we arrange a ride/supervised walk from school to the studio?

Yes, if there are many students coming from the same local school for a certain class, CSP will arrange transport for them.

Will students get a snack?

Yes, we will have a healthy snack and water available for students.

Will you have art exhibitions?
